VISITING ARTISTS, LLC was formed in 2015 as a program of Chanslor Wildlife, LLC. The principals of Chanslor Wildlife have provided artist facilities in Los Angeles, and Sonoma County, CA since 1975. Beginning in 1990, the organization began conducting Art, Food and Wine events for up to 7,500 people in Sonoma County to fund Chanslor Wildlife's art and environmental education programs. These events also included the performing arts.

THE NEWSLETTER
Visiting Artists mission is to acquire artist in residence and studio properties in Healdsburg and Sonoma County, CA. Healdsburg hosts a thriving art community with numerous galleries, working studios and art trails. A goal of the organization will be to provide both 'in town' and 'countryside' facilities. Ideally facilities acquired will also be able to provide venues for art exhibitions and supporting events.
For 2023 - 2024 key projects involve the Artists' Residence and Studio in the town of Bodega on 10 acres, 1 block from downtown, and the construction of the studio in downtown Healdsburg for The Natural Order of Things
artist program.
A small private event program "Meet the Artist' will also begin in downtown Healdsburg
with a focus on how artists became successful.
